What is PACT ?

Pact is a program for children whose parents are separating or divorcing. It draws upon research about children to prevent the child adjustment problems often associated with parental separation/divorce.

Children will participate in a series of fun and interesting activities in which the goals are to provide:

• Support - children can benefit from each other's experiences and from the support of adult group leaders.
• Education - children can benefit from accurate information; many problems arise from children's misconceptions about separation and divorce.
• Skills - children can benefit from learning skills to cope with the new challenges they face in this family transition.
